Hello there beautiful people.... aint it a beaaaaauuuuuttttiiiiffffuuullll day? *smile*

I am in a good mood.. sorta. I'm graduating soon and it's so exciting.... :)

Well, i had a good conversation with a friend last night and we talked about life... and the people around us. It really got me thinking...

Why do some people hate the world so much? YOu must be wonderin why i asked this... well, my friend and i were talkin about her friend... and according to her.. the way he sees the world and says things about life... it's as if he hates the world so much... life for him.. SUCKS!

Like i've mentioned in my previous blog... LIFE isn't a box of chocolate. Life isn't all pretty and sweet all the time. Life makes you think.... it lets you see the good and bad things in the world... it doesn't just show all the beautiful things in life... it shows the other ugly side too....

Sometimes, i feel so helpless... helpless because i am not able to help the other people who thinks life should always be perfect. HEY.... life isn't perfect... NOTHING and NO ONE IS PERFECT!

Hmm... i dunno what the hell i'm writing but this is just what i've been thinking.. actually there's more... but i am kinda sleepy now.. i had only 2 and a half hrs sleep and it's not enough.. my eyes are about to close...

so before i fall asleep... or knock my head on the keyboard... i'd say *yawn* .....

have the bestest day of your life today and have loads of fun... aight? I am goin home to take a nap... sounds good huh? :)

Hi there…. I’ve not been writing… well, I dunno if anyone reads but what the heck! I’ve been down with a very bad sore throat and cough and I’m still sick.. 

Anyways, last Saturday, 9th April 2005, was my father’s 12th anniversary. Time flies… what a cliché… but then again it is the only best way I can think of (at the moment) expressing my feelings about time.. hmm.. I ain’t making much sense here.

Well, I’d just like to share with you guys out there about what I felt on that day… things have been fine the whole day until after I attended mass. I was sitting in a room with the teens at church listening to a talk and the speaker mentioned about his love for his father and what he had gone thru when his father passed away.

Tears starting rolling down my cheeks as he spoke about the death of his father because I went thru the same thing… It was like listening to the story of my life but it was told by another person. I couldn’t contain myself and so I left the room and cried….

After 12 years without him, I still miss him very much. The memory of him remains in my head and it is still fresh…

I’ll be graduating soon and if only he could be there for my graduation ceremony… Sigh… but I know he’s proud of me and yes… he’s at a better place now… it HAS been 12 years.. 

Oh well, I stop here… I’ve got exams next week… so wish me luck!

POPE JOHN PAUL II … a great man who believed in world peace.

The death of JP2 has affected every one in the world. Not only the Catholics around the world have felt the loss but also the Muslims.

I was reading through news reports on this incident and I quote…

“the Pope was a great religious figure who devoted his life to defending the values of peace, freedom, justice and equality for all races and religions, as well s our people’s right to independence,” said Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas.

I am glad God took JP2 away from the sufferings of the world but I am sadden by the fact that he was the pope I sorta ‘grew up’ knowing… he believed in us – the youths. He believes that we are leaders of the church today and not tomorrow…

The fact that he was able to forgive the man who shot him… it has made me realize that JP2 had so much courage to walk up to the man and say “I forgive you…” *sigh*

This is one thing we all have to learn from him… that is to love and forgive. Before I end here (that’s because I dunno what else to write about such a great man), I’d like to quote him….

“IT IS LOVE WHICH CONVERTS HEARTS AND GIVE PEACE…”

Pope John Paul II…. You’re ‘DA’ man…. And we shall all remember you for your love, your fight for peace and justice, your courage and your faith in us – youths.
